The Butler’s Pantry at Pembroke Lodge is a relaxed café space set within the elegant Georgian rooms of Pembroke Lodge, offering freshly prepared food and refreshments in one of the most beautiful settings in Richmond Park.

A popular spot for visitors exploring Richmond Park, it provides a welcoming place to enjoy light bites, cakes, scones and seasonal dishes in a peaceful parkland setting.

Service is informal and self-serve, creating a relaxed and flexible dining experience for all visitors.

Food & Drink

The Butler’s Pantry offers a selection of freshly prepared food and drinks throughout the day.

Guests can enjoy sandwiches, children’s lunch boxes, cakes and scones, along with a hot lunch service available between 12:00pm and 2:30pm daily.

Our weekend breakfast menu is also available for early visitors to Richmond Park.

Both indoor and outdoor seating is available, allowing guests to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

Opening Information

The Butler’s Pantry operates daily throughout the year.

We are closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

A WARM WELCOME FOR EVERY VISITOR

Dogs are not permitted inside Pembroke Lodge or within the immediate grounds due to Royal Parks regulations; however, guide dogs and assistance dogs are always welcome.

For visitors with dogs, our external kiosk area provides a relaxed outdoor seating space where dogs are welcome.

Kiosk & Takeaway

Located just outside the main grounds, our kiosk offers a convenient takeaway option for visitors exploring Richmond Park.

It serves a wider range of food and drinks to enjoy on the go, with outdoor seating available nearby.

Public toilets are also located by the kiosk and are open during the same hours (typically 9am to 5pm, or 30 minutes before park closing).
